Religious Education at Christ the King serves to educate children of the parish about our Catholic faith who do not attend our wonderful school. We serve children in the parish in grades Pre-K through high school. We offer weekly classes taught by the amazing volunteers of the parish, all under the direction of our Director of Faith Formation.
During the time of COVID our instruction has changed significantly and all classes are taught online through pre-recorded video instructions along with weekly assignments within the workbooks assigned for each course as well as family activities that help the family unit, not just the student, grow together in their faith. So we have called it Foundations-Family Based Faith Formation for this year.
If you are interested in helping with our religious education classes when our normal class instruction resumes please contact Jason at the parish office.
Youth Ministry at Christ the King helps serve the mission of making disciples by providing a place for teens in grades 6-12 to grown in their faith in a small group setting. We talk about various topics related to our Catholic faith, pray together as a group. lean about how to practice our faith, perform acts of service, enjoy fellowship with one another and share meals together as we grow in our faith.
