Parish surveys, demographics, and market studies have shown a need and support of this type of housing in our southside community.
As a result, an affordable Senior Housing facility was constructed on our campus. Ground breaking took place on November 21, 2010 at Christ the King Phase 1 Senior Housing. In May of 2016 we expanded and opened Christ the King Phase 2 Senior Housing which led to a combined total of 54 housing units.
Both facilities border SW 9
Street. Christ the King Phase 1 sits on the northwest portion of Christ the King property, on the corner of SW 9
Street and Porter Avenue. This building is a three-story structure with 18 two-bedroom and 10 one-bedroom independent living units. The main housing office is located here. Garden patios surrounding the building are perfect for outdoor activities. Christ the King Phase 2 is located directly across from Phase 1 on SW 9
Street. Phase 2 facility is a three-story structure with 23 two-bedroom and 3 one-bedroom independent living units. Both facilities have common areas, controlled access entry, and elevators.
